You’re already there, and you won’t want to miss it for anything.                                                                                                                                                                        The Jesus Lizard has enraged people all over the world since they were formed in Chicago in 1987. The flawless and unexpected rhythmic section by Sims and McNeilly served as the ideal springboard for Denison’s sharper riffs and Yow’s unmistakable vocalizations, which alternated between a paniqué citizen, an évadé de la réalité, and a blessed motherfère marin. The Jesus Lizard’s wrath has been expressed through six studio albums, two live recordings, and a number of singles and EPs.

The Jesus Lizard is back, rafraîchi, and in full form with “Rack.” There are no fades or tièdes to indicate the point at which they “mûri” as compositeurs.
